Therefore, neither the Monitor nor DoctorGood.net is responsible for any posting. DoctorGood.net reserves the right to remove any Monitor- or user-created content, once it is brought to our attention, if we find in our sole discretion it violates these guidelines or if it is in violation of the law. Usernames:

Please do not use the following when creating a username:

  1. No website addresses
  2. No email addresses
  3. Not to exceed 17 characters in length

Guidelines:

When posting a new topic, please select the forum that best relates to the subject matter of your topic. Redundant topics are not allowed and are considered spam. Our members represent a wide variety of religious, spiritual and political people. When joining in discussions on our forums expect to come across persons whose ideas, opinions and beliefs may be different from yours. Please approach such encounters with tolerance and an acceptance of others faiths and beliefs.

Posting Guidelines:

When posting a new topic do not use the CAPS lock. It is hard to read and is considered yelling. When replying in an existing topic it is fine to use CAPS or bold to highlight main points. Try not to use large font sizes and many colours as this can be a strain on the eye sometimes and also makes the forums look untidy.

Language:

Any foul or hostile language used will not be tolerated. This includes any derogatory statements and profanity. Direct or indirect personal attacks are strictly not permitted. Insults and negative attitudes are not allowed. Saying you don't agree & why, can be done in a good humoured and polite way without causing offence.

All members have the right to their own ideas, beliefs and faiths. Members have the right to express these with equal respect and consideration.

Impersonation:

You agree not to impersonate DoctorGood members or moderators. Not to create more than one username with the intent to disrupt discussions or deceive members.

Copyright:

Copyright infringement is illegal. Never post an article in it's entirety. When posting copyrighted material, please use small sections or link to the article. When posting copyrighted material please give credit to the author in your post.

Advertising:

Advertising and promotion of products & services is not permitted in the forums.

Any statement which makes an offer in return for financial gain (including within the signature) will be treated as advertising and therefore will be moderated.

Posting of website links within the text body is permitted if relevant to the topic, links to your own website are acceptable in your signature. Please note: only two weblinks are permitted within the signature and signatures should be no more than 4 lines in total. Anymore than two links, four signature lines will result in Moderation.

If someone is specifically asks: "does anyone knows of a good (naturopath/reflexologist/acupuncturist etc. etc.) in Oshkosh/Timbuktu/Oodnadatta etc." and if you know of someone in that specific area who can help the person who posted the query, you can point them in right direction. This is provided it is not YOU, and there is no direct financial gain involved with the recommendation.

It is acceptable, therefore, to reply to a direct request for help, but if you happen to be a therapist/products supplier/services provider etc., in that specific area you must not include actual contact details in your reply, or invite the person to contact you. You are free to state, however, 'if you are interested, feel free to PM (Private Message) me'.

Conduct of Others:

Our members represent a wide variety of religious, spiritual and political beliefs. When joining in discussions on our forums, expect to come across persons whose ideas, opinions and beliefs may be different from yours. Please approach such encounters with tolerance and an acceptance of others ideas, faiths and beliefs.

DoctorGood.net can not monitor all postings made by its members and must rely on the members to abide by the rules of their conduct. Should you have an issue with postings which you feel are derogatory to yourself, are defamatory or offensive, then please contact the forum moderator or DoctorGood.net administration , when the topic can be locked.

The Internet provides the perfect forum for cyberbullies, individuals whose aim is to gain gratification from the distress caused by provoking and tormenting others. The anonymity, ease of provocation, and almost infinite source of targets means the Internet is full of predators; from pedophiles targeting children to serial bullies targeting ... anybody.

Should you feel the need to report abuse or threatening behavior to us, please click the "Report Abuse” links or email us directly providing as much information as you can.

Disruptive behaviour:

You must not disrupt or interfere with discussions, forums, or other community functions. Disruptive behaviour may include creating a disproportionate number of posts or discussions; creating off-topic posts; making statements that are inflammatory; manipulating topics to disrupt conversation; or any behaviour that interferes with conversations or inhibits the ability of others to use and enjoy this website for its intended purposes.

Spam:

No repeat posts with the same text should be posted in different forums.

Important - Violation will result in Moderation

If any of the above rules are ignored and broken you will immediately be put onto moderation. This means that any future posts you make will need to be checked and cleared by a moderator before it appears on the forums.

Final:

All messages express the views of the author, not necessarily the views of the forum owners. DoctorGood.net reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason without giving any explanation.

We also have the right to suspend or terminate your membership for violation of any of the above rules without giving any explanation. The decision of the Moderating Team is final.
